Just because someone may feel bad when hearing that someone disapproves of homosexuality does not mean that disapproval is cruel or wrong.
e. No school should support a view of homosexuality that is unproven and controversial, and that is physically, emotionally, and spiritually destructive to individuals and society.
f. No school should allow instructional time to be politicized.
Encourage your church leadership to follow the bold example of Pastor Ken Hutcherson who vocally opposed "Day of Silence" in his community in Redmond, Washington. He led the Walkout in his community, and over 600 out of 1,400 students were called out of school on the Day of Silence. Let your light shine by spreading the word to your church and neighbors. Explain that school districts lose money for every absence, which may help convince administrations and school boards that it is not merely unethical but fiscally irresponsible to allow the classroom to be used for political purposes.

Nothing has been lost. It is all stored and backed up but migrating it is a very complicated process and the first migration failed halfway thru and that is why 321 videos transferred and the remaining 170 did not. I could go on and on and on but it's just boring tech talk.
The bottom line is that my goal in the coming weeks is to transition to a new site that is a million times better than the old one and to keep all 4,000 members TOTALLY happy and satisfied. If you are Premium, i will add mucho free time on to your account. And if you're standard I have some good things coming, too to help get more of you upgraded.
My goal is to get the site perfect. And then make sure the membership is completely happy and satisfied. Loyal, kind and patience members will be rewarded for their loyalty, kindness and patience. Assholes , not so much.
If you spend an hour on the new site you will see the potential for what it can be. Communicating is soooo much easier. Just scroll over a person's pic and you get tons of communication options. You can even chat simply from within your profile. There's so many things that are and will be soooo much better but it's a process.

This is the honest truth, 100%, I'm going right now to pick up our weekly payout from the website. The total from last week is 290.00. I paid the server last night and that was 190 and I have to send 250 on PayPal to my tech guy today and I already paid another 80 on monday and the new software license is going to be 400 before modifications. So do the math.

A Little Blogging
Finally saw Capitalism: A Love Story. Loved it, too. So great. So many shocking sequences. The part about the judge who sent kids to a for-profit-prison in exchange for kickbacks from the owners was infuriating. But there were lots of inspiring things, too; Americans fighting for justice. Everyone should see this film! Everyone should see every Michael Moore film. Thank God for Michael Moore.
My favorite escapist movie in a long time is Daybreakers. Has anyone seen this film? It's very thought-provoking and gory and stylish. Lots of fun and very intriguing.
Did we really pass Health Care??????? Really? I still don't believe it! It IS a big fucking deal!
The husband and I are doing great! 6 weeks of heaven. Had a rough patch but worked thru it and things have been great ever since. Making Porn in Florida
It's been a while since my play, Making Porn, has been produced but it sounds like this production in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida is not a disaster. But does it make me miss the theater? Hmmm. Not much. Producing theater is mostly headache-inducing but nice reviews can make the trip a little less painful. If you're in Florida, go check it out. The producers are very nice guys!

Playwright Ronnie Larsen on his 1995 comedy-drama Making Porn:
The first preview was sold-out.
The reviews were horrible.
More sold-out shows.
Everytime a bad review came out our ticket advance grew.
Hopefully this good review won't kill ticket sales at the new 48-seat Empire Stage theater in Fort Lauderdale, where a current production of Making Porn runs Thursdays to Sundays through Feb. 7.
Making Porn first played South Florida in 1998 at the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road. 1980s gay porn icon Ryan Idol starred as Jack Hawk, a straight out-of-work actor who quietly takes a job in a gay porn film and reluctantly becomes a star.
Casting Idol in the star role caused a minor sensation on South Beach and the month-long run at the 400-seat Colony regularly sold out. (Making Porn contains much male frontal nudity and several simulated sex scenes.)
As gay-porn fans know, however, their Idol never was the world's greatest actor.
The current Empire Stage production is well acted, and well directed.
Julia Clearwood, a mainstay at Fort Lauderdale's old Sol Theatre Project (where Empire Stage is now located), plays Jack's wife, Linda, who at first becomes sick to her stomach upon learning her husband makes a living having video sex with other men.
Gordon and Clearwood work well together and are quite believable in their scenes together.
Actors Keith Dougherty and Michael Lopez (also the production's director) are Making Porn veterans. Both appeared in the show's 1998 South Beach production with Ryan Idol. They play their parts as boyfriends/porn filmmakers with energy and conviction; neither walks through his role.
The two cast surprises are Ryan McFadden, who plays a 20-year-old porn hopeful, and Angel Perez, who co-stars as longtime porn star Ray Tanner.
McFadden starts off a bit goofy but soon shows an endearing comic flair.
Perez has the hardest job of all, not having his acting talents obscured by performing the most explicit scenes in the play. Let's just say it's a close shave, but Perez manages to pull it off. His Ray Tanner (a role often played by real-life porn stars) is human and – just one more double entendre, please – fleshed out.
Making Porn is not for everyone. Some will find it too explicit, others not explicit enough. But for the sold-out audience on Saturday night, Ronnie Larsen's play was just right.

LOUISVILLE, KY—At first glance, high school senior Lucas Faber, 18, seems like any ordinary gay teen. He's a member of his school's swing choir, enjoys shopping at the mall, and has sex with other males his age. But lately, a growing worry has begun to plague this young gay man. A gnawing feeling that, deep down, he may be a fundamentalist, right-wing Christian.
"I don't know what's happening to me," Faber admitted to reporters Monday. "It's like I get these weird urges sometimes, and suddenly I'm tempted to go behind my friends' backs and attend a megachurch service, or censor books in the school library in some way. Even just the thought of organizing a CD-burning turns me on."
Added Faber, "I feel so confused."
The openly gay teen, who came out to his parents at age 14 and has had a steady boyfriend for the past seven months, said he first began to suspect he might be different last year, when he started feeling an odd stirring within himself every time he passed a church. The more conservative the church, Faber claimed, the stronger his desire was to enter it.
"It's like I don't even know who I am anymore," the frightened teenager said. "Keeping this secret obsession with radical right-wing dogma hidden away from my parents, teachers, and schoolmates is tearing me apart."

According to Faber, his first experience with evangelical Christianity was not all that different from other gays his age.
"Sure, I looked at the Book of Leviticus once or twice—everybody has," Faber said. "We all experiment a little bit with that stuff when we're growing up. But I was just a kid. I didn't think it meant anything."
Faber's instinct was to deny these early emotions. But recently, the Louisville teen admitted, the feelings have grown stronger, making him wonder more and more what life as a born-again right-wing fundamentalist would be like.
"The other week, I was this close to picketing in front of an abortion clinic," the mortified teenager said, his eyes welling up with tears. "I know it's wrong, but I wanted so badly to do it anyway. I even made one of those signs with photos of dead fetuses and hid it in my closet. I felt so ashamed, yet, at the same time, it was all strangely titillating."
Faber's parents, although concerned, said they're convinced their otherwise typical gay son is merely going through a conservative Christian phase.
"I caught him watching The 700 Club once when he thought he was alone in the house, and last week, I found some paperbacks from the Left Behind series hidden in his sock drawer," his mother, Eileen Faber, said. "I'm sure he'll grow out of it, but even if he doesn't, I will love and accept my son no matter what."
Faber's father was far less tolerant in his comments.
"No son of mine is going to try to get intelligent design into school textbooks," Geoffrey Faber said. "And I absolutely refuse to pay his tuition if he decides to go to one of those colleges like Oral Roberts University where they're just going to fill his head with a lot of crazy conservative ideas."
He added, "I just want my normal gay son back."

The monthly server is about 400. Some months subscriptiions cover it and some months it's very tight. December was a very tight month and I had an extremely urgent personal crisis. The server bill will be 150 cheaper per month but if something seriously goes wrong it may be more complicated and expensive to fix. So there you go. More information than you needed or wanted but we just want you to see behind the curtain and understand that running this site is not easy and your support really makes a huge impact.
